Overview
What is Melty?
Melty is a free Windows desktop launcher for game mashups and mods that run on titles you already own. Press Play and it installs what the mashup needs, can invite friends on multiplayer mashups, and lets you publish new mashups by handing instructions to Claude Code or Codex. Backed by Y Combinator (Stella Montis Inc.). Ideal for mashup players and agent-assisted mod authors; not a browser game merger and not useful without owning the base games.
Good for
- PC players who own games and want one-click mashups
- People publishing mashups with Claude Code or Codex
- Friends who want invite-link multiplayer mashups
Watch out for
- Windows-only at collection time
- You must own the underlying games
- Agent-built uploads are scanned but still use caution with third-party mashups
