For makers

The badge.

One image, one link. It tells your visitors a third party checked your pricing and uptime, and the month it last did; the month updates by itself after every weekly check. Free listings go live once the badge is found on your site.

1. Before your listing is live

Anyone may embed this one — submitted or not, listed or not. It links to our homepage with a ref, so the target always exists, and it is what our crawler looks for while a listing waits for its badge check. A nofollow is fine.

Embed code
<a href="https://aidirecto.com/?ref=whenitships" target="_blank" rel="noopener">
  <img src="https://aidirecto.com/badge/brand.svg" alt="AI tools, checked weekly — aidirecto" width="236" height="56" loading="lazy">
</a>

No image? A plain link does the same job.

2. Once your listing is live

This is the one that pays off: it links straight to your listing page, so every click a visitor makes goes to you, and the stamp carries the month we last verified your pricing and uptime.

Embed code
<a href="https://aidirecto.com/tools/whenitships?utm_source=badge" target="_blank" rel="noopener">
  <img src="https://aidirecto.com/badge/whenitships.svg" alt="WhenItShips is listed on aidirecto and checked weekly" width="236" height="56" loading="lazy">
</a>

How detection works

  1. Put either code anywhere on the tool's homepage; the footer is the usual place. Linking to our homepage is enough — that is what the brand badge does.
  2. Our crawler visits the homepage once a day while a listing waits; the badge image loading from our domain counts as well, so client-rendered sites are fine.
  3. When either is seen, the listing goes live and you get an email with the badge that deep-links to your page. A nofollow on either link is fine.
