One image, one link — and for free listings, the one requirement. Free listings go live after review once the badge or a text link back to us is found on your site.

1. Before your listing is live

Anyone may embed this one — submitted or not, listed or not. It links to our homepage with a ref, so the target always exists, and it is what our crawler looks for while a listing waits for its badge check. A nofollow is fine.

2. Once your listing is live

This is the one that pays off: it links straight to your listing page, so every click a visitor makes goes to you, and the stamp carries the month we last verified your pricing and uptime.

How detection works

Put either code anywhere on the tool's homepage; the footer is the usual place. The link back to us is the requirement — a plain text link works, a nofollow is fine.
After your listing is approved, our crawler visits your homepage daily and looks for the link. Client-rendered sites are fine: the badge image loading from our domain is also checked.
When the link is seen, the listing goes live and you get an email with the badge that deep-links to your page.
